Jelena Dubljevic made sure ZVVZ USK Prague keep their record tidy, producing another stand-out performance

Jelena Dubljevic continued her rich vein of form as ZVVZ USK Prague survived a late scare at CCC Polkowice to take a 67-64 win and stay perfect in EuroLeague Women Group C.

The Montenegrin forward was once again tough to stop in the paint and showed the same clinical touch which lit-up her previous three games as the Czech club collected a fourth win of the season.

Her masterful 22-point contribution was central to the victory as the visitors almost contrived to snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory in a nervous finale.

A stunning 19-5 opening encapsulated the continued confidence of Prague and it looked like a potential blowout was in the mix after the first eight minutes of the clash.

But, CCC Polkowice stemmed the early bleeding as they slowly but surely, hauled themselves back into contention - feeding out of the hand of Australian wing Belinda Snell who eventually finished with a fine 22 points.

It was a score by Snell which got the hosts to within a point at 53-52 by the start of the final quarter, but with Czech veteran Eva Viteckova finding her range from distance, ZVVZ USK Prague made a decisive seven point unanswered run.

That gave them the most precious of crunch-time cushions and they were to need it, since CCC Polkowice almost prevailed in the closing stages, but instead slumped to a fourth loss in five games.

Viteckova had 17 points and Laia Palau had seven assists against her former team.
