|Furkan Korkmaz was red-hot from downtown, making 7 of 14 three-pointers to spark Turkey with 29 points|
Turkey overwhelmed Lithuania in the final quarter to ensure they completed their Group B campaign unbeaten at the U16 European Championship Men with an 82-67 win.
Lithuania had led much of the first half and, although Turkey took control with a 12-2 run before half-time and pulled nine points clear three times in the third quarter, they could not fully shake off the challenge of their opponents.
A 7-0 burst saw Lithuania tie the game 57-57 when Martynas Varnas threw down Matas Andruskevicius' alley-oop pass early in the fourth quarter.
But Furkan Korkmaz responded with a three-pointer as Turkey began to pull away again, and they led 66-59 on Korkmaz's lay-up with 6:19 remaining in the game.
Mykolas Dieninis raced down court for lay-up, but Turkey then scored 12 unanswered, highlighted by a Korkmaz three, that put the game out of Lithuania's reach.
While Turkey top the group at 3-0, Lithuania are also through to the second round at 1-2 thanks to their opening victory over Sweden.
Korkmaz finished with 29 points while Ercan Bayrak had 13 and Baris Ulker 12.
Egehan Arna scored 13 points with 11 rebounds, while Enes Taskiran also scored in double figures with 10 points.
Varnas led Lithuania with 20 points while Tadas Sedekerskis added 13 and Dieninis 10.
