Arvid Diels, Sint-Katelijne coach:
"[Scoring] 60 points in EuroCup is like [scoring] 80 points in Belgium [League], so even if we lost I think my team made some good things in offense. Especially in the first quarter where we played our game. We tried to didn't let the game to Nantes too early, we succeeded in the first quarter but after that Nantes was too strong for us. It's a very good team. I want to congratulate them for their very good season, in EuroCup and in their national league. This is our project to play the EuroCup. We think that's good for a young Belgium player to participate in this competition. Each year we learn more. We have our style, we succeeded against Wasserburg but not against Nantes."
Marielle Amant, Nantes player:
"It was a great collective production. Individually we had the size advantage so we insisted on that particularly. Is it fun to play that type of game? Yes , it's important to have fun while working. It was a setpoint of the coach. We stayed focus and we tried to work on what we have to develop. About the first quarter, I think we responded well and that's the most important."
Emmanuel Coueret, Nantes Rezé Basket coach:
"I think my team played smart in this game. We were able to adapt to [the game of] an atypical team. We brought the ball where we wanted it to be. We made the shots we wanted to. Sint-Katelijne is a very enthusiastic team which play its game. But they have a size deficit and an athletic deficit, it is difficult for them to succeed against a team like us. We showe a very "clean" basketball and every girl got to play. That's good for the confidence. 110 points in a women's game, I think that's rare, that proves that we made good choices."
