Quotes Joensuun Kataja vs. Keravnos

04 December 2012

Kataja head coach Jukka Toijala
"A great win for us. Even though we didn't get the six-point-win that would have secured the position for the next round, we still have an excellent chance to qualify. We ended the first half badly and due to Johnell Smith's injury we seemed to have lost our focus for a while. I have to give a credit to our team to not give up even though we were down by a couple of points only two minutes to go in the game."

Kataja point guard Petri Virtanen
"I have seen many kind of games, but this is certainly one of the best come-backs I've seen. We didn't give up and played smartly in the last posessions."

Keravnos head coach Panagiotis Yiannaras
"First of all congrats to Kataja. I think that we played most of the game a bit better than the opponent team but after some tough calls and some turnovers this is how it ended up. Still we don't know who's going to qualify so the table is still open."

Keravnos power forward Lawrence Kinnard
"We had our up and downs, and overall couldn't execute our game plan well enough."
