Keravnos Nicosia head coach Panagiotis Yiannaras
"It was a good game, an intense battle in which each team wanted to win. Unfortunately, none of the teams had a chance of qualifyingfor the Last 16, but we tried to do our job till the end. I want to congratulate CSU Asesoft for the victory and wish them good luck in the Romanian championship."
Keravnos Nicosia guard Bobby Maze
"We had a good first half, we managed to have control and score many throws behind the semicircle. In the second part, Asesoft defended much better and charged us for mistakes. Altogether, it was a very good match in terms of offense for both teams.
CSU Asesoft head coach Vladimir Arnautovic
"We had some problems in defense in the first half, when we had to run continuously after Keravnos. At the break, I asked the boys to be more aggressive and try to take advantage of guests errors, which happened. Even if the game does not present any stake, we tried to achieve victory for our morale and I'm glad we did. Keravnos was a strong team in this group and I think it would be worth it to go ahead."
CSU Asesoft player Robert Nyakundi
"We started the game worse, but we went along. I'm glad that coach and teammates trusted me and I managed to score when it was most important. It was a good game for us, even if we had no chances of qualification. It certainly will help us in domestic competition, where we want to reach the top and have a good lane into the playoffs."
