Pizza Express Apollon turned back a late comeback attempt by Xion Dukes and won their clash on Tuesday evening to seal a place in the EuroChallenge Regular Season.
The Cypriots carried an eight-point lead into the second leg of their Qualifying Round tie and won, 96-90.
The visitors from Austria, who prevailed in their domestic Supercup over the weekend, led Apollon by seven early on Tuesday.
With three and a half minutes remaining, they went in front 87-84 to trail by just five on aggregate.
Daryl Dorsey poured in eight points over the last three minutes to secure victory for Apollon.
The hosts would have been more convincing winners had they made free-throws but instead, they missed 11 of their 26 attempts.
Power forward Brandon Brown was the biggest culprit, missing seven of 15 at the stripe for Apollon.
The home side nevertheless won with Dorsey scoring 24 points and Marvin Jefferson adding 19 along with 13 rebounds.
Christoph Nagler led a balanced Xion Dukes attack with 17 points.
