Arras crashed to a fourth consecutive EuroLeague Women loss in Group B after they were outclassed and overpowered by a rampant Fenerbahce who cruised to a comfortable 88-59 road win.

Inspired by a glut of brilliant performances, Fenerbahce were untouchable, leading from tip to buzzer as they moved to a 3-1 record.

The superiority of the Turkish club was never seriously threatened by the struggling hosts who needed a good start to build confidence, but instead, allowed their opponent to score the first eight points of the contest.

That made it even more difficult of a task, and whilst they managed to eventually narrow the gap at 27-23, Fener simply raised their intensity and it was business as usual as they held Arras to just nine points during the second period.

Leading 47-28 when they hit the locker rooms, Fenerbahce more or less had the game already in the bag, and when Arras managed to keep pace during the third quarter, the visitors made sure of the victory via a 13-3 start to the fourth period.

Anastasiya Verameyenka posted a near flawless shooting night for the visitors with 14 points from seven-of-eight floor shooting to go with her nine rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots.

Birsel Vardarli was similarly clinical with her 16 points whilst Aurelie Carmona was the most impressive performer for the beleaguered hosts with and efficient 12 points.
