|DeLisha Milton-Jones finished her EuroLeague Women campaign with Tarsus on a high, knocking down 19 points|
It's been an eventful first campaign in EuroLeague Women for Tarsus Belediye and they wrapped up their involvement in the competition with a thrilling 72-70 Group A win over Wisla Can-Pack.
Having lost head coach Erdal Yegin in the lead up to the game, the team seemed to be unaffected as they claimed their fourth win of the season and indeed their third in a row, as Danielle Robinson nailed a last-gasp basket.
The result may have left Wisla wondering what impact it could have on their subsequent play-off seeding and will also reflect on having allowed a double-digit advantage to slip.
It was 22-22 during the second quarter when the visitors made their move, finishing the half with a 20-8 run, and it could have been worse for Tarsus heading to the locker rooms, had Shay Doron not converted on the buzzer.
It gave Tarsus some much needed momentum for when they returned to the court and after seven minutes, they had erased the 12-point deficit with a free-throw from Robinson leveling matters at 48.
As both teams wrestled for the initiative for the remainder of the game, it boiled down to composure and execution in the clutch.
Alana Beard tied the scores at 70, only for Robinson to make the game-winning shot with the last possession.
Delisha Milton-Jones top-scored with 19 points for Tarsus whilst Justyna Zurowska can feel aggrieved to have been on the losing team after a flawless shooting night handed her 16 points.
