|Federico Mussini sparked Italy with 11 points and 5 rebounds in a comfortable win over England|
Italy have joined Germany in the second round of the Dadu U16 European Championship Men, recording their second group A win with a 65-47 victory over England.
Giving up too many fouls cost England any chance they had of competing with the Azzurrini, who enjoyed their regular trips to the free-throw line, from where they picked up 25 charity points.
In a stop-start game that produced few highlights, Daniel Donzelli stood out for Italy, picking up a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double.
Diego Flaccadori scored 12 points whilst Federico Mussini and Riccardo Rossato picked up 11 each.
Jules Dang was again prominent for the English, ending as the only player in double figures with 17 points.
Italy will look to complete a clean-sweep of group A when they play Turkey on Saturday. England will hope to salvage their campaign when they play defending champions Croatia.
