|Sergey Karasev kept his cool at the end of the game and fired Triumph to victory|
A star is on the rise in the EuroChallenge with Sergey Karasev again lifting Triumph Lyubertsy to victory.
The 18-year-old buried a game-winning three-pointer in the waning seconds as Triumph won 84-83 at Okapi Aalstar in Group F.
The win kept Triumph unbeaten in the competition at 4-0 and sealed a spot in the Last 16.
Karasev had 21 points in last week's victory over Olin Edirne.
Down 83-80 after a free-throw by Okapi's 22-year-old point guard Jorn Steinbach, Triumph's Tywain McKee earned a trip to the line and sank one of two.
Nate Fox turned the ball back over to the Russian team, however, and Karasev ended up hitting the go-ahead three-ball.
Jerry Jefferson scored 24 points while Kyle Landry had 14 and 11 rebounds for Triumph.
Karasev finished with 13 points and six boards. He made two of his four shots from long range.
McKee also had 16 points.
Steinbach had 23 points for Aalstar, who fell to 2-2.
