EUROCHALLENGE

Antwerp Giants blew away Elan Chalon in the fourth quarter and claimed a 90-65 victory in France on Tuesday night in their EuroChallenge Group E clash.

The Belgian club, for the second game in a row in the EuroChallenge, won by a significant margin.

Last week, Eddy Casteels' team won at home against CSU Mobitelco, 87-63.

Michael Roll remained hot for Antwerp, scoring a game-high 25 points.

The American hit four of six shots from long range.

When Roll wasn't scoring, he was setting up his teammates because he finished with seven assists.

Darnell Wilson added 18 points and Ralph Biggs 13 for the Giants.

Chalon trailed from start to finish but only faced a 38-35 deficit with 1:23 to go in the first half after two Blake Schilb free-throws.

Timothy Black hit a three-pointer and then Roll hit one of his shots from the arc at the half-time buzzer for a 44-35 lead.

With 3:27 to go in the third quarter, Antwerp's lead was cut to 53-30 after a Michel Jean-Baptiste-Adolphe free-throw.

The Giants again had a strong finish to the quarter, however, with Wilson and Roll making jumpers and Biggs a three-pointer for a 65-54 advantage.

Antwerp lowered the boom in the fourth quarter when they outscored the hosts 25-11.

If the Giants shoot this well, not many teams will beat them.

They finished 12 of 23 from long range and 35 of 58 overall.

Wilson was three of three from the arc, Biggs three of seven and Black two of four.

The French club made only three of 12 from three-point range.
