BK Prostejov's Jamar Smith made a game-winning three-pointer with just one second remaining at BC Goverla on the first day of the EuroChallenge Regular Season.
In a do-or-die situation, the American shooting guard nailed the attempt from long range for a 77-75 Group C triumph.
The ball fell through the hoop on Tuesday night just two seconds after Goverla captain Dante Swanson had made a pair of free-throws that looked to have clinched victory for the home side.
Smith was the most likely player to attempt the three-ball because he had hit three of his first six attempts.
He finished with 14 points.
Bertengeh Gadri had 12 points and 11 rebounds for Prostejov, who lost to Lukoil Academic Sofie in the Eurocup Qualifying Round to appear in the EuroChallenge Regular Season.
The 24-year-old Smith is now nine of 17 from long range in European competition this season.
