Roanne Basket moved on to the Last 16 of the EuroChallenge and ended the hopes of BK Prostejov in the process on Tuesday with an 87-70 victory over the Czech team.
Playing in France, Roanne got another strong game from John Holland.
The American had 18 points and eight rebounds as Roanne improved to 5-1 in Group C.
Prostejov, following Pardubice's win over BC Goverla, had needed to win to have a chance of advancing on a tie-breaker but failed.
Instead, Prostejov fell to 3-3 and Pardubice (4-2) advanced as the second-place team in the group.
Roanne trailed 33-32 at half-time and 38-34 early in the third quarter but then took over.
Dylan Page hit a jumper and then Andre Barrett and Philippe Braud hit back-to-back three-pointers to put Roanne in front, 42-38.
Prostejov came back and went on top, 45-44 after a shot from the arc by Arvydas Eitutavicius and a drive by Travis Peterson.
Page and Holland answered with three-pointers, though.
Roanne ended up scoring the last four points of the third quarter to take a 61-55 lead.
They followed with the first seven points of the fourth quarter for a 72-55 lead and there was no way back for Prostejov.
The advantage grew to 20 points before Roanne settled for an 87-70 victory.
