|Bobby Brown had 20 points for the EWE Baskets, who are looking like favourites in the EuroChallenge|
EWE Baskets underlined their status as one of the teams to beat in the EuroChallenge with an 83-77 victory at Fuenlabrada.
The German club swept the Spanish side after outscoring them 26-18 in the last quarter.
EWE Baskets hammered Fuenlabrada 85-66 in their November 15 meeting in Oldenburg.
The two sides have clinched their spots in the Last 16.
Tuesday's game wasn't decided until the final minute.
Ferran Laviña's three-pointer for Fuenlabrada had knotted the game at 76-76 with 55 seconds to go.
Laviña then fouled Bobby Brown and the guard sank both free-throws to take his points haul to 20 and put the visitors back in front.
Rickey Paulding, whose six shots from behind the arc had helped bury Fuenlabrada in the first encounter, next made a big play for EWE Baskets.
Paulding stole the ball from 23-year-old guard Joaquin Colom and dunked almost immediately after to stretch the lead to 80-76.
Leo Mainoldi earned a trip to the line for Fuenlabrada but made just the first of two free-throws and Paulding came down with the rebound after the miss.
Fuenlabrada fouled Kenny Hasbrouck and he sank only one of two at the line, but Kirk Penny was off target for Fuenlabrada from long range and Brown rebounded for the visitors.
The hosts fouled Brown and he missed both, yet Mainoldi was off target from behind the arc and Adam Chubb capped a terrific performance with a dunk for the six-point victory.
Chubb finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds for the winners, with teammate Milan Majstorovic adding 17 points and seven boards.
Mainoldi had a game-high 24 points and 10 rebounds in defeat for Fuenlabrada, who played without big man Gustavo Ayon - the Player of the Month for November in the Liga Endesa.
Fuenlabrada turned the ball over 21 times.
Chubb had a game-high three steals.
The winners were nine of 29 from long range and Fuenlabrada 13 of 30.
Porfirio Fisac, coach of Baloncesto Fuenlabrada:
"We played a good first half. But then we lacked defensive intensity. We have failed to play against the current. In addition, we have failed to adapt to the referee's criteria. We have an important lesson to learn from this match. I have not thought to play Gustavo Ayon because we will need him more for other games. So far, this competition we used to catch all the players race pace."
Jon Cortaberría, shooting guard of Baloncesto Fuenlabrada:
"We played a remarkable first half. In the first two quarters we played aggressively. But in the second half we failed to combat the physical styleplayed by the EWE Basket. They have been more aggressive on defense."
Pedrag Krunic, coach of EWE Baskets Oldenburg:
"It was a very good game. With two very different halves. In the first part Fuenlabrada played very well. But in the second half we played much more aggressive. A good defense gave us the option of easy points. In addition, we knew how to score key baskets that gave us the victory."
Milan Majstorovic, power fowatd of EWE Baskets Odenburg:
"The game had two very different parts. Luckily, we played with much more energy in the second half. In this part, we played better defense and have been stronger on the rebound. Good defense allowed us to play with less pressure on attack. We worked very hard to get the win."
