Lukoil Academic beat BK Prostejov 87-77 in the Czech Republic on Wednesday to punch their ticket for the Eurocup Regular Season.
After winning the first leg of the Qualifying Round tie by five points last week in Bulgaria, Jovica Arsic's team hit the road and broke open a close second game, midway through the third quarter.
Trailing 49-47, Academic outscored the hosts 25-6 to take what appeared to be a firm grip on the second leg.
Todor Stoykov hit two free-throws, Tencho Banev dunked and both Andre Owens and Lamont Mack made three-pointers at the start of the run that left the visitors on top, 70-51, with 47 seconds to play in the third quarter.
Brandon Heath had seven points in that scoring rampage for Lukoil.
Slovenian guard Matej Venta had eight points as Prostejov battled back and closed the gap to 75-69 with 4:00 remaining.
But Academic hit their stride again and pulled away for a 15-point triumph on aggregate.
Owens finished with 17 points and Mack scored 15 for Lukoil.
Arvydas Eitutavicius led Prostejov with 14 points.
While Academic will compete in the Eurocup, Prostejov will go into the EuroChallenge - the competition that both sides played in last season.
