Wisla head coach Jose I. Hernandez
"We are glad that we made it to the Final 8. I think we were the better team in both games. We managed to play good defence, especially Kobryn and Bjelica did a very good job. It is a good feeling to be among the best eight teams in Europe."
Wisla center Ewelina Kobryn
"I agree with the coach. It was important that we did well on defence and we played according to coaches instructions. Maybe we were favourites in these two games, but every game is different and we are happy that we are among the best eight teams playing in Istanbul. I hope we will surprise there."
Prague head coach Lubor Blazek
"For the second time I can congratulate to our opponent. I think Krakow fought for it and I believe they can succeed in the Final Eight. They earned their victory, we didn't play as we wanted and expected in either of the two games. We have three major players injured, which had a huge influence on our play. DeLisha and Anna played today, but they were still limited by their injuries, therefore their performance wasn't optimal. It would be difficult for any team that would encounter same problems with injured players. But that's what sport is and all I can do is to wish Krakow all the best in Final Eight."
Prague point guard Lindsay Whalen
"My congratulations. They played very hard and physical basketball with a very good defence. We had some good runs, but every time we got closer by 8 or 9 points, we missed some shots, they scored and the score gap widened again."
