|Jelena Skerovic led all Sparta&K scorers with 12, but the star of the night was her compatriot Milka Bjelica who posted a double-double in points and rebounds to lead Wisla to a famous victory in Rusia|
Wisla Can-Pack Krakow stayed unbeaten in Euroleague Women Group C with an impressive 74-62 road win over last season's runners-up Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje.
Wisla built a comfortable first-half lead and then pulled further clear in the third quarter, ensuring a late rally from the hosts came to nothing.
After an even start to the game, a Paulina Pawlak three-pointer highlighted a 9-2 Wisla run late in the first quarter that saw them begin to edge clear, taking a 15-8 lead.
The score was 19-12 by the end of the first quarter.
Sparta&K scrapped to stay in the game throughout the second period, but a late 8-0 burst, capped by Petra Ujhelyi's lay-up saw Wisla take a 42-28 bulge to the locker rooms.
Any hopes Sparta&K had of getting back in the game ended in the third quarter when their shooting went cold and Wisla took advantage, pushing the advantage past 20 when Ujhelyi's jump-shot made it 58-37.
Sparta&K showed plenty of pride in the final quarter, outscoring Wisla 25-16, but it was too little, too late, to get anything from the game.
Milka Bjelica led Wisla with 18 points and 14 rebounds while Erin Phillips had 15 points and Nicole Powell 10.
Candice Dupree and Jelena Skerovic had 12 points each for Sparta&K with Sonja Petrovic, Irina Osipova and Rebekka Hammon adding 10 apiece.
Sparta&K missed all 11 of their three-point attempts.
