Rivas Ecopolis broke open a tight game at the start of the second half and thumped Lattes Montpellier in an important Group C encounter in the EuroLeague Women.
Team USA Olympic hopeful Asjha Jones had 31 points and 13 rebounds for the Madrid team, which won the battle of 5-5 teams, 82-63.
Rivas only led 39-37 a minute into the third quarter after a basket by Montpellier's Sandra Dijon.
Laura Nicholls answered with two free-throws, though, and Anna Cruz followed with a couple of lay-ups as the hosts opened up a 45-37 advantage.
After Nicholls made two more from the charity stripe, Jones went up strong down low for a basket before Essence Carson lowered the boom with a three-pointer.
BLMA never recovered.
They trailed 64-47 by the end of the third quarter and ended up falling by 19.
Jones had 20 of her points in the second half.
Rivas finished with 18 assists to just six for the visitors, and they also forced BLMA to turn the ball over 18 times.
The Spaniards made 15 of their 16 attempts at the free-throw line while BLMA were eight of 14.
Rivas snapped a three-game losing skid.
The French club lost both of its encounters to Rivas.
