|Italy international Simona Ballardini, with 16 points, led Cras Basket Taranto to victory|
Cras Basket Taranto claimed an 82-63 victory over Frisco Brno in EuroLeague Women Group C on Wednesday night.
Simona Ballardini had 16 points to lead the Italians, who never trailed in the contest.
Cras improved to 4-6 and kept alive their hopes of reaching the play-offs while Brno slumped to 1-9.
On top 13-10, Taranto got a three-pointer from Ballardini to trigger an 11-4 run to finish the frame and they stayed on top the rest of the way.
Kia Vaughn was immense for Taranto with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Elodie Godin also had 12 points and 10 boards for the winners.
Romana Hejdova had 17 points in defeat.
