Wisla Can-Pack Krakow got a scare but won at home against Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration on Wednesday night, in the EuroLeague Women.

The French outfit, fresh off an upset of Bourges in the domestic league, led until midway through the fourth quarter but ended up falling, 66-58.

Nicole Powell had 17 points and eight rebounds for Wisla, who improved to 3-0 and now sit alone at the top of Group C after winning Wednesday night's battle of unbeatens.

After an Edwige Lawson turnover, Bjelica went down and struck again for a 57-54 advantage.

Ana Dabovic and Erin Phillips followed with baskets to push the advantage to 61-54, and Wisla held on for the win.

Petra Ujhelyi is proving to be quite a signing by Wisla because the Hungarian center had a game-high 13 rebounds to go with her nine points.

Wisla had a balanced scoring attack with De Mondt the player other than Powell to hit double digits in points.

She hit a pair of three-balls and finished with 10 points.

Turnovers were crucial in the game, with BLMA committing 22 and the Polish club just 12.
