Nevriye Yilmaz then added a basket before Matovic stretched the advantage to 16 with a jumper.
Birsal Vardarli capped the run with a three-pointer to put the Turkish giants in front by 19.
Fener, whose Australian star Penny Taylor did not play, ended up outscoring Sopron 21-8 and in the frame and coasted to victory.
Sopron, whose Zsófia Fegyverneky poured in 18 points, slipped to 3-7 with the defeat.
Sopron head coach Norbert Székely
"They have very good players and they played also as a team. Im happy, that in the 4th quarter we played like in the first half. Thats a good basis for the next weeks."
Fenerbahce head coach George Dikeoulakos
"Penny Taylor was injured and because of the turkish All-Star game we couldnt practice last week, so im happy that we could play a good game tonight. We are a stronger team, and today our defense was on a high level. Congratulations also to Sopron, they varied their tactics very well during the game."
Sopron guard Zsófia Fegyverneky
"Thats the reality! Until the 15th minutes we could play a good game, but after we had no chance. They are phisically bigger, stonger, especially under the basket. Congratulations"
Fenerbahce center Ivana Matovic
