Perfumerias Avenida brought an end to their three-game losing streak in the EuroLeague Women with a 78-59 victory over UNIQA-Euroleasing Sopron.
Coming off defeats to Fenerbahce, CCC Polkowice and Beretta-Famila Schio, the Salamanca club got 22 points from Marta Fernandez.
Avenida trailed 24-20 midway through the second quarter when they turned the game on its head.
Allison Feaster-Strong hit a three-pointer to trigger a 14-0 run that Dewanna Bonner capped with two free-throws.
After Olexandra Kurasova hit a jumper for the visitors, Marta Xargay finished the scoring in the first half with a basket for a 36-26 Avenida lead.
Sopron remained within striking distance and closed the gap to 59-52 early in the fourth quarter.
A Fernandez jump shot, which took her points haul to 18, reclaimed the momentum for the hosts and they pulled away for a 19-point triumph.
Avenida were a perfect 13 of 13 at the free-throw line and they shot 30 of 61 from the floor.
Sopron, in falling to 3-6, were led by Kurasova's 13 points.
