|Was red hot in the crunchtime once more: Eva Vitecková|
Knowing that Eva Viteckova is one of the best shooters in the EuroLeague Women is one thing, but stopping her in crunch time is something else.
The Czech international poured in a game-high 24 points and twice hit shots from behind the arc in the last 1:46 to fire USK Prague to an 82-77 win over Lotos Gdynia.
Gdynia, having won two of their previous three games in Group A as they make positive strides under coach Javier Fort, knotted the contest at 74-74 on a jump shot from Aneika Henry with 1:17 to go.
Viteckova, who had buried a three-pointer not long before, snapped the tie with another long ball with 1:05 remaining to make it 77-74.
After Jolene Anderson split two free-throws for Gdynia, Anna Montanana went to the line and sank two and Prague ended up winning by five to leapfrog Bourges back into fourth place in Group A with a 4-3 record.
Bourges (3-4) had won earlier on Wednesday at VICI Aistes.
Viteckova finished three of five from long range.
Montanana had 16 points.
For Gdynia, who dropped to 2-5, Anderson scored a game-high 26 points.
