Courtnay Pilypaitis was outstanding for the Kaunas club with 22 points and nine rebounds but she couldn't prevent the team from slipping to a third defeat in Europe.
Lubor Blazek's side never trailed and seemed to have command with 3:40 to go in the first half when Eva Viteckova buried a three-pointer for a 36-18 lead.
But the hosts clawed their way back with Vita Kuktiene's jumper reducing the deficit to 39-30 with 1:13 to go in the second quarter.
Viteckova then finished the frame with two jump shots to stretch the advantage back to 43-30.
Prague led by as many as 23 points in the third quarter but VICI Aistes refused to go away and twice cut the gap to just seven points, the second time when Vaida Sipaviciute scored to leave visitors in front, 54-47.
Twice again in the fourth quarter, the hosts managed to pull to within seven but Prague had their noses in front to stay.

Frida Eldebrink, ZVVZ USK Prague:
"It was a good game, we played good defense and with intensity; we played a good offense as well and got some easy fast breaks. Overall a satisfactory performance."
Ivan Benes, ZVVZ USK Prague assistant coach:
"We were able to play hard defense for the whole game and were able to execute our system of play even when it was a tight game in the second half. It helped us to score from open positions and be prepared."
Courtnay Pilypaitis, VICI-Aistes Kaunas:
"It was a hard game. Obviously we wanted to win. We let them take too many open shots. I think we did a good job coming back in the second half but we have to play like that for the duration of the game."
Mantas Sernius, VICI-Aistes Kaunas head coach:
"Congratulations to Prague, they had a good game. I'm not satisfied with our performance. We didn't play as a team in some parts of the game and in EuroLeague we cannot afford that, because you get punished for every mistake."
