Serbia won the opening game in Group B of the U16 Mens European Championship, and reached 100pts in an emphatic display against Montenegro.
Serbia were led by 20pts from Brano Djukanovic, alongside 19pts from Dorde Kaplanovic, 15pts from Luka Popovic and a double-double from Dusan Ristic (18pts, 13 rebounds).
Montenegro's Luka Savic was able to get 18pts but the Serbian defence prevented much assistance from his teammates.
Serbia took an early advantage as Kaplanovic's 3pt shot put them 13-6 ahead.
A 10-1 run saw Serbia extend their lead to 26-10 as Montenegro struggled to penetrate the Serbian defence, and later Serbia used a run of 13-0 to finish the first half up 51-29.
A 14-0 run to begin the second half finished the contest and marked the Serbians as a team-to-watch in this tournament.
Serbia enjoyed a shooting advantage of 63% to Montenegro's 43%, and also dominated the boards 45-22.
