Spain made it six wins out of six at the U16 European Championships for Women as they ended the group stages in Cagliari with an 83-35 defeat of Turkey.
And Evaristo Perez's side delivered another emphatic display to secure top spot in Group E, leaving the Turks to end up in third place.
The Spanish hit 16 straight points to begin the game, setting the tone for their dominance with a pressure defence which forced their rivals into making mistakes.
It took Turkey until 3:29 in the first quarter to score after missing their initial nine shots but they simply could not match Spain's power inside and out.
By half-time, the lead was 46-16. The tournament favourites refused to ease up, a run of 7-0 in the third only spurring on a relentless push right to the finish, as they eventually won the rebounding battle 47-18.
"We played very well," said forward Leticia Romero, who was one of three players with 12 points for the Spanish. "But we're still trying to improve. We still have three more games to win and it will be difficult."
