José Miguel Araújo (OLIVAIS' coach):
"We were competitive on the first half with some normal anxiety because it was the first european game. The third period was fatal for us and we were never able to come back to the game. We have a lot to improve but I am sure we will become competitive on the EuroCup."
Philip Mestdagh (Young Cats' coach):
"This is only the second game we played together. We played one training game against a first division team and we lost by 2 points. It's a surprise what we brought on the court tonight. Our target was to win one game on the EuroCup and that mission is accomplished. Now we want to win back home against Olivais and we will see what we can do against Lille and Ruzomberok."
Earnesia Williams, Olivais:
"This result is hard for us because we lost by a big margin. However this is a good took for us to improve. We are all very disappointed because we put a lot of effort on this game. We have to be better on all aspects of the game. We know that sometimes the ball does not want to go in on offense, but we have to stay focused on the defense, by rebounding and being aggressive"
Emma Meesseman, Young Cats Center:
"It was amazing! We put on the court a lot of energy. We did not come here to win however we kept on scoring and we saw we could who tonight. It is only our second game and this victory is fabulous for this kind of national team! I think there is a good future ahead for us, as a team, because we showed that everything is possible if we keep on putting a lot of energy on our game."
