GAME REPORT

Late-Game Ecstasy For Oostende

9. Matthew Lojeski (BC Oostende)
Matthew Lojeski was the hero of the night for BC Oostende when he drained a game winning jumper

Entente Orleanaise suffered another close defeat in EuroChallenge Group H on Tuesday night and slipped out of contention for a spot in the Last 16.

Saddled with a three-game losing streak after opening the season with a victory over Dexia, Orleans fell at home 72-70 to BC Oostende (3-2).

To cap a frustrating season for the French outfit, and continue a magnificent spell for Oostende, the visitors got a game-winning jumper from Matthew Lojeski at the death.

Lojeski scored his club's last two baskets in the waning moments and finished with 14 points as Oostende stayed in the hunt for a spot in the next round.

Oostende, Dexia and SLUC Nancy all of 3-2 records.

Oostende will host Dexia next week and Nancy are up against Orleans.

At the end of a very tight game, Zacherie Moss split two free-throws with 12 seconds to go for a 70-68 Orleans advantage.

Lojeski quickly scored at the other end to knot the contest at 70.

JR Reynolds then turned the ball over for Orleans and Lojeski struck the game-winner.

Caleb Green finished with game-high 18 points for Oostende and Ludovic Vaty poured in a team-best 16 for Entente Orleanaise.
