Pinar Karsiyaka are headed to the Last 16 of the EuroChallenge after an 85-67 romp at home against ETHA Encomi.
The victory was a fourth in five Group G games for the Turkish club while their beaten opponents have a 2-3 record like fellow Nicosia side Apoel and BC Zadar.
ETHA Encomi hit the road and play at Zadar next week while Apoel will be at home against Pinar Karsiyaka.
Karsiyaka's David Holston led the way with 21 points, which included a go-ahead three-ball in the first quarter that sparked a 7-0 run and left the hosts with a 21-14 lead.
The visitors kept the game close until the fourth quarter when they trailed by double digits the entire time.
Anthony King couldn't have done much more for ETHA Encomi.
He had 27 points, seven rebounds, five blocks and four steals - numbers that will make him a serious contender for player of the week honors.
The three-point shooting was big in this game.
While Karsiyaka connected on eight of 19, ETHA Encomi made just two of 14.
The Cypriot club also didn't help themselves at the free-throw line, missing 12 of their 37 attempts.
"I congratulate my team about getting the first place and qualifying of the group. We still have an important game in Cyprus against Apoel, but before that we have to finish this stage for a few days because of our hard National League game against to Fenerbahçe Ülker on sunday..."

"That was a hard game for us to play against a strong team as Pınar Karşıyaka. In the first half we cany mistake againts to such a strong team you do not have many chance to handle it and overcome. We will play in Croatia with Zadar next week, we will try to do the best and also we will wait for Pınar Karşıyaka to help us against Apoel in Cyprus.
Etha Engomi Player Thomas Masamba:
"In the fisrt half we tried to do all but Pınar Karşıyaka started so phisical and tough. When they increase that in the second half it was easy for them to take us out of the way. Also point guard David Holston, he is a great player, he woke up little late but, in the second half he did not mind if I was guarding him and staying on him, he made all the shots over hand. Congragulations to Pınar Karşıyaka and good luck at the second group.."
