Darnell Wilson and Trent Strickland scored 17 points each to lead the Antwerp Giants to a comfortable 72-53 win over Enterprise BC Dynamo that lifts them to the top of EuroChallenge Group F.
Antwerp outscored their visitors 30-12 over the final period and a half of the game as a 42-41 advantage became a blowout win.
Wilson's jump-shot with 7:49 to go capped a 17-2 run that put the game out of reach for Dynamo.
Timothy Black added 16 points for Antwerp, while Salah Mejri had 10.
Vasily Zavoruev led Dynamo with 15 points, while Nikita Shabalkin had 11.
Antwerp Head Coach Eddy Casteels:
"A big effort of my team. Especially in defence we made the difference. This win is important. But we have the focus now on our games on the road. Also the game in our gym against Steaua Bucharest is a key."
Dynamo Head Coach Sergey Bazarevic:
"We made 6 points in the second half in 12 minutes. That's a problem. We are a young team and we have a lot to learn."
Antwerp Player Darnell Wilson:
"The difference was defence. Yes this was a great win and will give us a boost for the three other European games in our group."
