Quotes BK Prostejov vs. KK Zagreb

21 December 2010

KK Zagreb Head Coach Mladen Erjavec:
"Our biggest problem was the start of the game. We got to a big lose and then it took us about twenty minutes to get back to the game. In the second half, we begun to play good defense and control the ball, it was much better than in the first half. We had the chance to get the game equal, when we shot for 72:72, but we missed and Prostějov scored 4 points. In that time, the game was over."

KK Zagreb player Mario Kasun:
"Like the coach said, the biggest problem was that we opened the game very badly. We lost ten balls in the first quarter and Prostějov took big advantage of that. Then we spent a lot of energy of coming back to the game. But we also made some stupid offenses, like three in a row and at that moment, the game was over."

BK Prostějov Head Coach Peter Bálint:
"As my colleague said, the start was important, we got a quick lead. However, getting a quick lead does not necessarily mean an easy game. The opponent improved their game, stopped losing balls, did less mistakes in defense. Despite these facts, we were always capable of scoring. We controlled the game from the beginning to the end."

BK Prostějov player Kyle Landry:
"Like everybody said, the start was very important to us, we played very well at the beginning. Even when they made their runs, we kept our composure, played strong and always held onto our lead."
