Katie Douglas stole the show, pouring in 27 points as Ros Casares won the opening game of their EuroLeague Women quarter-final series against Bourges Basket, 65-58.
Douglas was in outstanding form, making 9-of-17 (52.9%) from two-point range and 3-of-4 (75%) from three-point land in a virtuoso performance.
It was Douglas who scored seven unanswered points late in the third quarter as Ros Casares finally began to pull clear, turning a 40-39 edge into a 51-41 lead on Rebekkah Brunson's lay-up early in the fourth quarter.
The lead grew to as many as 17, 58-41, on Sonia Reis' lay-up with 6:12 to go, but Bourges put a stop to the rot.
Styliani Kaltsidou nailed a three-pointer as they stemmed the tide.
However, they never again threatened and the scoreline would have looked more lopsided were it not for Kaltsidou's three and Endene Miyern's jump-shot at the end.
With Douglas dominating, Brunson was the only other Ros Casares player to score in double figures, collecting 11 while adding 10 rebounds.
Catherine Joens led Bourges with 18 while Kaltsidou had 10.
