The second meeting was nothing like the first as Halcon Avenida blew away ZVVZ USK Prague in the EuroLeague Women on Wednesday night.
A far cry from the one-point win for Avenida in the Czech Republic in opening week, the Spanish team rolled to a 93-65 victory in Salamanca.
Alba Torrens led the scoring parade with 22 points while Sancho Lyttle and Erika de Souza poured in 21 apiece.
Avenida, beaten for the first time in any competition this season last week at Sparta&K Moscow Region, are 5-1 and in first place in Group C with Prague now fourth at 3-3.
The run that Prague never recovered from came in the second quarter and Erika was at the center of the action for Avenida.
She scored six straight points for her team and then Belinda Snell buried a three-ball for a 40-27 advantage.
De Souza followed with another basket to take her points haul, and the lead in the game, to 15.
The Brazil center then caught a pass from Silvia Dominguez at the start of the second half and scored for a 17-point lead.
Avenida were in front by double digits the rest of the way.
Prague are still shorthanded with shooting guard Evina Maltsi missing the game.
The visitors had nine players see action.
Lucas Mondelo, Head Coach Halcon Avenida:
"We played a great game, all the team was outstanding and this game is a gift from the team to all the crowd here in Salamanca.
The key for us was the great deffensive effort that our players made on the court. We played great deffense that allowed us to get easy scores off the fast-break".
Lubor Blazek, Head Coach USK Prague:
"There's little to say. Tonight luck was on Avenidas side. They did an outstanding job.
We didn't play our best game and the score speaks by itself about the difference between the two teams today."
