MKB EuroLeasing made it two EuroLeague Women wins from two with a comfortable 82-52 home victory against Rivas Ecopolis.
Led by Tijana Krivacevic's 20 points, MKB never looked back after a strong start, and with Angel McCoughtry (16 points) and Zane Tamane (15) also scoring well, they never looked back.
Dewanna Bonner was the only player for the Madrid visitors, as she finished with 17 points - missing a double-double by a single rebound. However her efforts were in vain as the visitors fell to a second straight loss after a successful 2009/10 campaign.
The home side rushed into a 12-1 lead capped by McCoughtry's jump shot, and they also scored the final six points of the first period to go into the first break with a 27-9 lead.
Diana Fürész opened the second period scoring for MKB EuroLeasing with a trey, and their lead was still 20 at the mid-stage of the quarter.
McCoughtry took her tally to 13 as the home side kept up the pressure, and despite Bonner scoring the final points of the half for Rivas Ecopolis, it was MKB who went into the locker room with a 42-20 lead.
Courtney Paris reduced the visitors' deficit with the first score of the second half, but Katalin Honti made it a 21 point game at the midway stage of the third period, and the same player hit a jump shot to give MKB a 57-34 lead going into the fourth quarter.
There was no way back for Rivas Ecopolis after that with Bonner making it a 30 point game going into the final seven minute as the hosts wrapped up their second victory of the EuroLeague Women season.
