Pecs 2010 clinched fourth place in Group A and a place in the last 16 of the EuroLeague Women with a 72-58 win over Cras Basket Taranto.
The hosts, who have now won four of their last five, held a double-digit lead from early in the second period and were never really troubled as they cruised home.
Taranto only once threatened to rally, with Valentina Siccardi's lay-up capping a 6-0 run that brought the scores back to 50-43 with 3:30 to go in the third period.
But Pecs found the extra gear they needed, with Krisztina Raksanyi's three-pointer capping a 9-0 run in response that made it 59-43 early in the fourth quarter.
Pecs can now dream of a return to the Final Four, a place they once inhabited so often, but one they have not been back to since 2005.
And it was their one remaining veteran of that campaign, Dalma Ivanyi, who led them in this game with 14 points and 10 assists, as well as five rebounds.
Zsofia Fegyverneky poured in 16 points, while Kelsey Griffin had 13 and 11 rebounds.
Nora Nagy-Bujduso also scored in double figures with 11 points.
Sophia Young led Taranto with 17 points, while Elodie Godin had 14 and Kathy Wambe had 10.
Dokic Zeljko, Head Coach Pecs 2010:

Zsofia Fegyverneky, Pecs 2010:

Roberto Ricchini, Head Coach Cras Basket Taranto:
"Congratulation to Pecs. Our players were mentally tired because we had a lot of games in the last few weeks. Pecs was very aggressive and we could not stop them."
Jami Montagnino, Cras Basket Taranto:
"The supporters of Pecs are great. This was one of the reasons why Pecs won the game. They seem to be a much stronger team playing in front of their home crowd."
