Cras Basket Taranto defeated TTT Riga to retain sole possession of first place in Group A of the EuroLeague Women.
Cras won 56-42 to improve to 6-1 and go a game clear of second-place Wisla Can-Pack Krakow.
The outcome has left Riga bottom of the pool at 1-6.
Taranto will play in the post-season while Riga have only a slim chance of advancing.
Brooke Smith had 14 points and France international Elodie Godin 11 for the winners.
In a low scoring game, Cras went in front to stay late in the first quarter.
Smith's jumper knotted the contest at 12-12 and Megan Mahoney's two free-throws followed.
At the end of the opening frame, Riga's Dita Krumberga scored to reduce the arrears to 16-15.
By half-time, Cras were on top 33-23.
An 8-0 run late in the third quarter left the Italians with a 47-29 lead and they cruised the rest of the way.
Shavonte Zellous had 14 points in defeat for Riga.
The Latvian club made just 10 of 20 at the free-throw line and were 10 of 32 from the field.
Taranto were 21 of 44 from the field and eight of 12 at the charity stripe.
They out-rebounded the visitors 38-32.
Kimberly Butler had eight points and five steals in a losing effort.
