France Do It Again: Buzzer Beater!

Czech Republic thought they had won but Mélanie Devaux hit a triple with five seconds to go in regulation to hand France yet another last gasp win 74-73 in the U18 European Championship Women 2010 tournament in Spisska Nova Ves, Slovakia.

Good rebounding had allowed the Czech team to take an early lead in the first quarter.

Martina Cepelková propelled the Czech offense with 13 points and 83.3 field goal shooting percentage and helped her team to a 7-35 at the break.

Hélèna Akmouche reduced the deficit to single digits after she made a pair of free throws with 4:29 left to play in the third quarter.

France were kept at a distance but pushed for a late comeback in the fourth quarter and Devaux capped a final 6-0 run with the winning three-pointer.
