Besiktas left no doubt about their participation in this season's Eurocup by rolling to a decisive second-leg victory over WBC Raiffeisen Wels in Turkey.
The Austrian club had won the first leg last week, 74-69, but Burak Biyiktay's team prevailed in Tuesday night's game 100-81 for a 169-155 triumph on aggregate.
Besiktas, who got 34 points, nine assists and eight rebounds from Mire Chatman, took command early.
They outscored Wels 26-15 in the first quarter and extended the advantage to 49-35 by half-time.
That left the visitors trailing by nine points in the tie.
Looking to give themselves a chance when play resumed, Wels instead watched Besiktas keep the pressure on by pouring in 26 more points to go on top, 75-54.
Wels managed to outscore the hosts in the last period, 27-25, but lost the tie by 14 points on aggregate.
Jason Conley had 24 points, eight rebounds and five assists for Wels.
Besiktas shot 75.9% (22 of 29) inside the arc and also made a blistering 40% (14 of 35) from three-point range.
Chatman buried six of nine (66.7%) shots from behind the arc.
Wels hurt their own cause by making just seven of 16 (43.8%) at the free-throw line.
