Scavolini player Daniele Cinciarini:
We were afraid of them because they changed the coach and few players, and usually this means more energy. It was a very important game for us and we're happy that we managed it well. Two games are left but we are in a good position to try to reach the first spot in the group. I think this game was very important also because a tough team like Apoel helped us giving us a hard practice before our next game in italian championship in Cantu.
Scavolini head coach Luca Dalmonte:
Congratulations to Apoel because they never gave up and had the energy to fight us untill the end.
Our last 10 days were very tough, fighting against injuries and various illnesses with Sakota, Cvetkovic (still out), Shaw, and Flamini, so this win will help us gaining more confidence in our possibilities. It was very important also to see again Sam Van Rossom on the court, he has been missing the last 2 months and for us he is a vital player. We will keep on fighting to get the 1st position in the group.
Apoel head coach Yannis Christopoulos:
I want to wish good luck to Scavolini in its future in Eurochallenge and Italian League.
We are rebuilding our team, we will need some time to readjust to many things but time will be our friend, we kow there's a lot of work to do but we are not scared. About the game, just look at the difference in assists (5 Apoel, 20 Scavolini) and you'll understand a lot about what hapened on the court.
Apoel player Milan Dozet:
It was a tough game, especially because we also have a new coach and of course the team was a little bit confused at the beginning. I want to congratulate Scavolini for this victory, we have a lot of work in front of us but we look forward to win our next game at home which will be a turning point for us.
