Scavolini Pesaro stayed in the hunt for a first-place finish in Group C of the EuroChallenge with a 93-85 victory over BC "Minsk-2006".
Branko Cvetkovic had 21 points for the Italian club, which improved to 4-1 with the victory.
They will take on pool leaders Krasnye Krylia (5-0) next week, needing to win by more than 12 points to secure top spot.
Scavolini opened up a 54-45 lead by half-time but struggled to put the team from Belarus away.
Minsk clawed their way back, going on a 9-0 run to trail 71-70 late in the third quarter.
Marques Green answered with a three-ball and Cvetkovic made two free-throws to close the frame and give Pesaro a lead of six with 10 minutes to go.
Green hit another shot at the start of the fourth and Scavolini eased home to an eight-point win.
Minsk slumped to 1-4 with the defeat.
Luca Dalmonte, Scavolini Spar Pesaro coach:
"We secured the qualification to the second round one game before the end, so I'm satisfied. We had to change the schedule of our weekly practice sessions and this change had a negative impact on us. Nevertheless I want to say that Minsk played a very good game, they were a much better team than in the first game."
Henry Harrison, Minsk 06:
"Congratulations to my teammates. We wanted to play a better game than in the first game against Pesaro, where we were not mentally prepared for the standard of this competition. Now we feel ready and tonight's game, despite the defeat, testifies to that fact."
Daniele Cinciarini, Scavolini Spar Pesaro:
"We had a hard time against Minsk due to our soft approach [to the game] but we are satisfied with the end result - the victory and the qualification to the next round."
