Khimik got 19 points from Darrell Mitchell and 14 from LaVell Blanchard.
Both Mitchell and Blanchard were teammates of Dozet's last season at Proteas.
"Our opponent was a very strong and experienced team. We made mistakes. Apoel was a better team and much stronger."
Apoel head coach Christos Stylianides:
"It was a good game. We made a good performance and we had a good chemistry in the team. We had a great game in defence and offence."
Khimik player Lavell Blanchard:
"We did not play well today. We need to improve our performance and see what happens in the future."
Apoel player Gerben Van Dorbe:
"We executed our game plan, with low scoring for the opponent. We opened the game with good shooting. We have to work hard to make it to the next round."
