Halcon Avenida got 17 points apiece from Le'Coe Willingham and Isa Sanchez and sent MiZo Pecs 2010 crashing to a third successive defeat in the EuroLeague Women on Thursday night.
Despite leading by as many as eight points in the first half, Ákos Füzy's Hungarian team lost at home 69-60.
MiZo, as was the case in their previous two defeats, played well enough to win for much of the contest and even led late in the fourth quarter against Avenida.
A three-pointer from Alexandria Quigley put them in front, 46-43, but the Salamanca team replied with an 8-0 spurt bridging the third and fourth quarters to go on top for good.
Willingham made a pair of free-throws to reduce the deficit to one and Sanchez followed with a lay-up to make it 47-46.
After Sanchez intercepted a pass by Zsófia Fegyverneky, the Spain international drew a foul by Nicole Ohlde and made two free-throws before Willingham capped the run with a lay-up to make it 51-46.

The closest MiZo would get the rest of the way was 59-56 with 4:02 to play after a jump shot by Dalma Ivanyi.
Sanchez and Silvia Dominguez answered with jumpers for Avenida and they pulled away for a nine-point triumph.
While Avenida helped their own cause at the free-throw line by making 16 of 19, MiZo were just six of 13 with the hard-working Ohlde missing all five of her attempts.
Fegyverneky had 15 points to lead MiZo with her fellow Hungary international Anna Vajda pouring in 14 while also grabbing nine rebounds.
Ohlde finished with 12 points and seven rebounds and Ivanyi had a game-high four steals to go with her six points, four rebounds and three assists.
Avenida, who reached the Final Four last season, opened their 2009-10 campaign with a home defeat to Wisla Can-Pack Krakow but have prevailed in their next two games.
