Le'Coe Willingham collected 16 points and 10 rebounds as Halcon Avenida cruised to a 74-64 EuroLeague Women Group B victory over Beretta-Famila.
Avenida quickly built a double-digit lead in the early going, pulling 19-9 ahead on a three-point play from Sancho Lyttle after five and a half minutes.
And they successfully kept Beretta at arm's length the rest of the way.
The hosts briefly threatened to catch Avenida early in the third quarter when Nicole Antibe's lay-up made it 47-44, but they got no closer as Avenida pulled clear once again.
Lyttle finished with 14 points, Anke De Mondt added 13 and Alba Torrens had 10 for Avenida.
Laura Macchi led Beretta with 14 points, while Raffaella Masciadri had 12, Mudju Ngoyisa 11, and Chiara Pastore 10.
Avenida stay second behind Wisla Can-Pack Krakow with a 4-1 record, while Beretta drop to 3-2.
Sandro Orlando, Beretta Famila Coach
"A bad game. We didn't play well in offense, didn't move the ball in the right way and forced too many three point's shots. Now the next match against Pecs it will be really important".
Jordi Fernandez, Halcon Avenida Coach
"We played an amazing first quarter, scoring thirty-three points and playing very well in offense. In the rest of the game we controlled the lead with a good defense. Now we are second but the way is so long because all teams of our group are good and can win against anybody."
Silvia Dominguez, Halcon Avenida player
"It's a really important win for us because now we are second in the group and next week we can reach the top winning versus Krakow. I'm very happy for this game because Schio is a good team and to beat them on their own court is not so simple."
