Sancho Lyttle erupted for 31 points to spark Halcon Avenida in a 94-53 demolition of ESB Lille Metropole on Wednesday night in EuroLeague Women Group B.
A close-season signing from Ibiza, Lyttle has given the Salamanca outfit a terrific low-post presence and that was evident at the start against ESB when she poured in six of the game's first eight points to help Avenida claim an early 8-0 lead.
The Salamanca outfit was on top, 28-20, by the end of the opening quarter.
Lyttle had scored 22 points just over 13 minutes into the contest, with her last basket of the half giving the hosts a 41-24 stranglehold on proceedings.
Le'Coe Willingham, who scored 15 of her 17 points in the opening two frames, hit a jump shot with 5:36 to go in the second quarter to give the hosts their biggest advantage of the half at 46-27.
They went to interval on top, 53-36, and blew out the visitors from France for the remainder of the contest.
Avenida out-rebounded ESB, 47-28.
The Spanish team was 35 of 55 (63.6%) inside the arc compared to ESB's 13 of 40 (32.5%).
