Russia is the only perfect team in Group F of the Omnitel U16 European Championship Men after a 92-56 landslide against Montenegro.
Following this win Russia stand on a 3-0 record while the losing side dropped to 1-2, but still very much alive in the race for the Quarter-Finals.

It didn't take long for Russia to show who was boss on this night.

Goldyrev was on fire and collected 17 points after 14 minutes of play, as Russia took a 38-24 lead.
Kasalica tried to change things in favor of his team, but the beat Montenegro could do in the first half is leave the floor down by 16, 43-27.
Ivanovic connected points to cut the difference to nine after 25 minutes, 51-42 but then Karasev scored his first points, and Karpenko with a good third quarter finish pushed the gap once more to 17, 63-46.
If Montenegro had any thought of another mini come-back Goldyrev made sure that won't happen with another series of accurate shots, as Russia climbed to a 70-46 lead, and from there the garbage time kicked in.
