Municipal Targoviste Finish Off Electra Ramat-Hasharon To Advance

Municipal Targoviste wrapped up a convincing victory in their Qualifying Round tie with Electra Ramat-Hasharon on Friday to seal their progression to the next phase of the EuroCup Women.

After winning in Romania on Thursday 76-47, Targoviste hit the road for the second leg and won 68-48 to complete a 49-point triumph on aggregate.

The visitors out-rebounded Ramat-Hasharon 40-25 and held the Israeli team to 11 of 31 (35.4%) shooting inside the arc in the second leg.

Chrissy Givens led a balanced Targoviste scoring attack with 12 points. Cynthia Marie Valentin also had 10 and Radostina Slavova 11.

Electra Ramat-Hasharon got a game-high 24 points in defeat from Meirav Dori.
