Quotes STB Le Havre vs.
Base BC Oostende

Sharon Drucker, Head Coach of BC Ostende:

"This Le Havre's team was really surprising in its defensive aggresiveness. We managed to catch-up in the last minutes because we implemented a strong pressure. However, we weren't agressive early in the game. It's been only two days since I have been coaching this team. That is why we made a couple of changes. We had troubles in constructing our collective game."

Jean Manuel Sousa, Head Coach of STB Le Havre:

"I will keep in mind the fact that we finally found a proper team, and the fact that we globally made a good game. Unfortunately, we lost two or three important balls in the money time. Clearly, if we would have been able to keep the ball 50 seconds before the end of the game, we would have had the possibility to win this game. Now, the point is that we are half-way: there is another game to be played."

Bingo Merriex, STB Le Havre:

"Tonight, we saw that the team has been improving. We were far more aggressive, and notably when speaking about the offensive rebounds. We showed our ability to enter the paint and provoke many fouls. We'll have to be even more united in defense, but I think we have the possibility to make Ostende doubt next week. Who knows.. Who knows... we will surprise!"
