Base Oostende beat Tartu Rock 92-82 in the last EuroChallenge Group G game on Tuesday.
Both sides finished 2-4 and missed out on advancing to the Top 16 with group rivals Virtus Bologna (5-1) and CSK-VVS Samara (3-3) instead reaching the next phase of the competition.
American guard Dontaye Draper of Oostende led all scorers with 27 points and he also dished out five assists.
Draper was seven of seven from inside the arc and also had an impact on the game with his defense, coming up with three steals.
The Belgians went into the break leading 47-39 but the visitors cut the deficit to 65-63 heading into the final quarter.
The hosts went on a 16-3 run over the next five minutes to lead 81-66 and never looked back.
Georgian international George Tsintsadze, an All-Star last season and member of the Tartu side that reached the EuroCup Final Four, had a team-high 20 points in defeat.
Tartu Rock outrebounded Base Oostende 36-28 but the hosts were superior shooting the ball on the night.
Oostende finished 35 of 60 (58.3%) from the floor while their opponents were a mere 27 of 67(40.2%).
Coach Badioli, Base Oostende:
"It was tough to hear that Bologna, that went to Samara without Boykins and Arnold, had lost and as such our game was without interest."
"Today we did what we had to do. It was good for us to compete with a good team like Tartu as we still need a lot of game rhythm introducing three new players in the team. It was a nice game to see and I liked my team's reaction after Saturday's lost against Liege. For us every day is important. Such games where you can work on the floor are very important for us."
Dontay Draper, Base Oostende Player:
"I told myself before the game to be aggressive. It is hard to change from team to team in such short notice with new plays, new teammates that you have to get to know. I wanted to play freely and get the win for the team. Although it did not matter for qualification, this win means a lot to the team."
Coach Kerde, Tartu Rock:
"It is difficult to play a game without interest. But as we are in a difficult situation and things are not going well, such game are very useful and you have to try to concentrate 100%."
Gert Kulamae, Tartu Player:
"If you lose you always feel bad but for me it was special to be back in Oostende. It's a different stadium but the fans and the people are still as warm."
