Dmitriy Bazelevskiy, head coach of BC Khimik:
"Our main problem is that right now the team is not really in the best form and we have some players injured. Cakic one of the main players withdrew from the game. But today as always Bader and Agafonov played well. These players contained the more aggressive players of Dexia. They are not so high but are really very powerful. We were very serious about this game, so It's sad that we couldn't use this advantage from the start and made some foolish mistakes which shouldn't be made at a game of such level. We definitely need to work [on those mistakes]. But it is necessary to understand that a lot of young players are playing in our team. Those players were not even playing in the national league last season."
Wykeen Kelly, player of BC Khimik:
"We knew that this game will be hard for us. We knew this team always attack on full court that is unusual for us, but the coach all the time during the game was supporting us. He was saying that we can win this game and that we can show our real potential. Certainly we needed Cakic, who got injured, but, even without him, we believed that we cannot surrender."
Chris Finch, head coach of Dexia:
"My players were playing really hard the whole game. Every minute of the game there were the best players on the court. They really produced their maximum. But I am not satisfied with our defense because we allowed the players of Khimik through."
Kelvin Torbert, player of Dexia:
"We've played really bad today, but we had a lot of chances to win this game. Unfortunately, we missed those chances. But we were fighting the whole game."
