Virginijus Praskevicius buried a jump shot with 13 seconds remaining to lift BC Siauliai to a 77-75 home triumph over Proteas EKA AEL in the EuroChallenge on Thursday.
The result has left both teams with 2-2 records in Group D.
Proteas' Georgios Palalas had tied the game at 75-75 with a pair of free throws with 54 seconds to play.
Andrius Slezas went to the other end for Siauliai and was off target with a three-pointer, but he made up for it on defense by stealing the ball from Michalis Kounounis.
Not long after, Gintaras Kadziulis passed to Praskevicius who made the game-winner.
Praskevicius finished with 12 points while Kadziulis had 19 along with five assists.
Haris Mujezinovic poured in a game-high 21 in defeat for Proteas.
Siauliai led by as many as seven points in the second quarter but fell behind by four in the third.
The visitors weren't able to press home that advantage, however, and instead the Lithuanians fought back to take the lead again.
All looked lost for Proteas with 3:58 to go after Siauliai opened up an 74-66 advantage on a Vaidotas Volkus jumper.
Darrel Mitchell scored and then Mujezinovic connected from long range to make it a three-point game.
A pair of Milan Dozet free throws closed the gap to just 74-73 before Palalas ended up tying the game inside the final minute at the charity stripe before Praskevicius' late winner.
